“Clubster replicates the club environment and the club experience in a social network.”

About Clubster

Clubster is an interactive social network designed specifically and exclusively for private club members, providing real value to members of private clubs worldwide. Club management and leaders will be able to communicate, in real time, with their club members. Your members will be able to communicate with fellow members through their selected “buddies” “groups” and “friends.” They can also interface with their existing Facebook and Twitter contacts, and even network with members of other private clubs around the world.

How it Works

On Clubster, your members will log in and immediately see their “Locker Room” (in the world of Facebook it would be called their “Wall.”) But the most indispensable part of Clubster will be the section known as “My Home Club.” In this section of the home page, members will be able to see anything you want them to know about what is happening at their home club, by the minute, hour, day, week, month…any time frame you choose. If you want to tease them with today’s lunch special, post it to “My Home Club.” What about that nasty frost delay with this morning’s tee times? You can post it instantly on Clubster.

To go even further, Clubster is interactive, and will allow your members to respond to your messages. If you want to know who is coming to the pool party, wine tasting, annual meeting, whatever the event may be, your members can tell you to expect them via Clubster. Buddy groups make it easy for members to let their friends know they’ve registered for a particular program or event and encourage them to do likewise. That adds up to plenty of internal buzz and viral marketing for events with zero effort from the staff…and absolutely no cost to the club.

Who Can Join

Every member in your club can be a Clubster for free. Each club simply invites its members to join the Clubster social network which is fully controlled by the club itself. The club will have access to user-friendly administration tools to manage whatever you want to put into the “My Home Club” section. The club will also be able to add or delete members from the network, post exciting blogs and links and effectively keep members abreast of exciting news in a timely manner and familiar format.

Is Social Networking Really a Viable Addition to the Private Club Culture and Experience?

A growing number of clubs are saying yes, mainly because the adoption rate is so strong. While not every member may elect to participate, it is clear that the majority of your current and future members are familiar with the concept of social networking and for many it has already become an important part of their daily lives. They know how to use it and they like it, which means successful integration of social networking is not dependent on the club’s ability to address member education.

What About Privacy?

Clubster has been designed and developed by club industry veterans… experts who truly understand the elite nature of your membership and the absolute need for privacy and exclusivity in every aspect of their club experience. They have incorporated exciting features like industry blogging (currently growing at a pace of over 100,000 new blog sites per week); chatting, video, photo and file sharing, and club discussion groups to name just a few.

The plain and simple fact is: clubs that embrace social networking will enjoy significant benefits, including attracting new members and retaining existing members, lowering costs, enhancing revenues, and improving their club’s identity.

At Clubster we are committed to guiding the introduction and evolution of social networking in the private club world. We are focused on providing a unique and effective tool that benefits both members and their clubs.
